The Durham Tech Library in collaboration with the Student Enrichment Department is thrilled to announce the return of our Crafternoons for the Fall 2022 semester!
Take a few minutes to unwind with a creative break and chat with fellow Durham Tech students, faculty, and staff. Students, faculty, and staff from all programs and departments are welcome to participate. Materials will be provided.

August Crafternoon: Decorate your own Agenda
Join us on the Orange County Campus in the Lobby on Tuesday, August 30 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM during Welcomania.
Join us at the Main Campus Library in the downstairs group study room on Wednesday, August 31 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, after Welcomania.
Create a colorful cover for an agenda, notebook, or quote book! Scrapbook paper and various other papers will be provided for you to create your own cover and get the semester started off right!
September Crafternoon: Wearable Art
Join us on the Orange County Campus in the Lobby on Tuesday, September 27 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Join us at the Main Campus Library in the downstairs group study room (5-105A) on Wednesday, September 28 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Upcycle and bedazzle your canvas shoes, t-shirt, and denim or decorate a canvas tote. Bring your own shoes, t-shirts, pants, or any other item of personal clothing you’d like to decorate. Fabric paint, stencils, rhinestones, and canvas tote bags provided.
October Crafternoon: Pumpkin Painting
