The Durham Tech Library has access to three test prep databases: BoardVitals, PrepSTEP, and TERC.
All Durham Tech students, faculty, and staff are able to access these databases on and off-campus. Log in using your Durham Tech username and password, the same as you’d use for Self-Service, WebAdvisor, or Sakai.

A testing and education preparation resource that includes in-depth information on college, graduate, and professional programs, professional training, scholarships, and entrance tests alongside practice tests for entrance exams, certifications, and licensing exams.

Board Vitals: Board Exam Prep Tool
An interactive board exam review tool that can be used by Nursing and Surgical Technology students with a large bank of sample exam questions and customizable subject-area practice tests with detailed, up-to-date explanations with each answer, including references and links to applicable sources.
You will need to make an account to access BoardVitals using your Durham Tech email address. Follow the instructions on the landing page.
